Continue the third week (last week) of your experiment (All data should be complete by Thursday Oct. 28th).
Bring with you (or have online access to) your raw data.
Meet in computer lab....DeGarmo Room 307--Excel, graph making!
Read Part 7: in your Research Handbook "After the Experiment is Over"--Be sure to bring your manual to class! We need it!
STEM Kit Organization (Have completed by next week): And information posted on your STEM Kit Wiki page (links to google docs, or info, right on the wiki page.
Assign roles to each of the partners:
Brainstormer: (All group members) Create a space where you can discuss the kit ideas, to be sure you're all on the same page.
Kit Item Organizer: List items needed to go into the kit. Organize lists into 1) items provided in the kit, 2) items provided by the teacher and 3) consumables
Budget Researcher: Determines where items should be bought (best quality for best price) Do this in excel, organize url's, company names, number of items, cost etc.

Attendance
I will be checking STEM kit stuff later today!
Photos: Be sure to have photos of you working with your project, and the overall set up!
Determine who your peer editing partners are (see the link below) and go the the document sharing page to view their graphs.
Then save the worksheet using the a version of the name of the project and YOUR name as part of the file name. (This is important. If any file uploaded to the wiki has the same file name they will save OVER someone else posted file.) If you prefer, you may post your workshop to google docs and then provide a link. Either way, you must provide access to this worksheet.
When you are done peer editing each group, upload (if its a word doc) or provide the Google doc link and post it to THEIR project column on the document sharing page (make sure you typed your name into the original document so you get credit for completing the assignment.)
Assignments to have completed for Next Week: November 4
Post your best 2-3 tables/graphs for your peers to edit. (Do this via the document sharing page) by TUES. NOV 2
Complete student handout #7 (peer editing); for 2 other projects. DUE BY TUES. NOV 9
I'll give each of you a completion grade for peer editing 2 groups. Later, when I read the papers, I will look at the peer editing more carefully. It is then you will be kept accountable for accuracy and detail of feedback.
